2) Get an idea of what keywords other websites in your niche are using. One way you can do this is by clicking View - Source from your browser and noting the keywords contained in the meta, alt and title tags.
3) Use smart bidding techniques. Paying the highest price to always be in first position is not always wise. Some research has shown that being in first position may result in a higher click through rate but also a lower quality click. This is due to the fact that some people may click as a reflex or just click out of curiosity. Striving for 2nd or 3rd position can help with this issue and cost you less money. Sometimes there is a huge difference in bid price between 1st position and 2nd and 3rd position so you will save money.
4) Use action verbs to suggest what action you would like the reader to take. Avoid boosting that “We are the best” or “We are #1″ as some people will tend to ignore these words. It is much better to use your ad space to communicate what you have to offer and how your website is different.
5) Capitalize the first letter of each word of your ad because it makes the ad easier to read. Including the keyword in the title of the ad and in the body of the ad is also helpful. Avoid shortening the words in your ad because it looks less professional.
6) Test your ads and keep track of the results. Only make small changes each time and note your click through rate. Sometimes a change in one word can double the responsiveness of your ad. Also keep track of the keywords that bring the most clicks that results in a sale. Dropping unprofitable ads and keywords quickly will save you a lot money if you identify them quickly.
